The IESF World Esports Championship 2024<\/strong> is approaching, and Greece is ready for the ultimate challenge! With exclusive representation from Battlenet<\/strong>, our national team is determined to make its mark at the main event hosted in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Look Back at the Qualifiers and the Efforts of Get Going<\/h2>\n

A few months ago, Greece\u2019s best teams in Counter-Strike<\/strong> and Dota 2<\/strong> gathered at Battlenet Gaming Stations to compete for a spot on the global stage.<\/p>\n

In Counter-Strike<\/strong>, the team Get Going<\/strong> advanced from the Greek Qualifier to the East European Qualifiers<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With a final roster of Gi0<\/strong>, Shwayyy<\/strong>, solaRo<\/strong>, zaklouta<\/strong>, and geo2k<\/strong>, they entered Group A, where they faced off against top teams from Turkey, Ukraine, Albania, and Armenia. Despite a 13-10 victory against Armenia, the team was unable to qualify for the main event, finishing 16th in the East European Qualifier<\/em>. However, their journey showcased the strength of the Greek scene and put our country on the map.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Big Opportunity for Greece\u2019s Dota 2 Team<\/h2>\n

In Dota 2<\/strong>, our national team is aiming for the top!<\/p>\n

The roster, featuring Georgios “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos<\/strong>, Anastasios “Focus” Michailidis<\/strong>, Dimitrios “Thug” Plivouris<\/strong>, Charalampos “Skylark” Zafeiriou<\/strong>, and Athanasios “Desire” Kartsampas<\/strong>, has already won over the experts by securing 3rd place in the European Qualifiers<\/em><\/a> and is already ranked among the favorites to win!<\/p>\n
