Yep, you read that right, 71 years old!
This Swedish team is on a mission to prove that gaming isn’t just for the younger generation, but also for those who are already living at an “elite” level… of life.

This team is combating senior loneliness through gaming and is on a mission to connect with the world and show that gaming can bridge generations.

Road to DreamHack
In 2019, the Silver Snipers made their grand entrance at DreamHack Summer, taking home the Senior CS World Cup.
Surprised? Maybe for some. For the players? NO!
To prepare, the Silver Snipers enlisted one of the legends of CS , Tommy ‘Potti’ Ingemarsson. Potti was one of the best players of the world-renowned team Ninjas in Pyjamas in the early 2000s.
His mission?
To take a team that had less than 100 hours in CS and make them ready to stand against pro-teams! The work he’s done with the Snipers is truly fantastic, not just in terms of skills but in the way he approaches the game with such patience and perseverance.
It was a testament that gaming has no limits.
“Trigger Finger” Inger Grotteblad and “El Niño” Baltasar Aguirre didn’t play just for the honor and trophies, but to build bridges with their grandchildren!
Now, CS is a hot topic at the family dinner table, and holidays come with a side of… deathmatch.
