Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero – Exceeds All Expectations and Breaks Records

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has landed and is already dishing out Kamehamehas and Final Flashes! The latest game in the series, which has ALREADY broken records BEFORE THE OFFICIAL RELEASE on Steam and consoles, promises battles that will make you feel like a true Super Saiyan!

The fanbase has been waiting a long time for this one, and now the expectations are as high as Kaioken levels from Goku!

Let’s clear something up: this game is not just a return to the roots. It’s a love letter to all Dragon Ball fans, packed with scenes and battles reminiscent of the anime’s best moments. It’s got all the classic elements we loved from Budokai Tenkaichi, but in a shinier and more refined package. So, if your hands are already shaking with excitement, you’re not alone!

A Story that… Doesn’t Go Easy on Anyone!

If you think the story mode is a walk in the park, think again. Right from the start, Bandai Namco doesn’t mess around. Want to survive your first encounter against Raditz? Good luck! The game follows the series’ classic battles with precision, but what will make you blow up like Frieza is its difficulty.

Especially when Great Ape Vegeta shows up. Do yourself a favor and get some… bandages, because you’re going to need them. The giant characters are back, and yes, they are just as annoying as we remember them from Budokai Tenkaichi 3. If they didn’t drive you crazy back then, get ready for many rage-quits now.

It’s All About the Gameplay

The Dragon Ball series has always been known for its high-speed battles and incredible intensity. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero not only maintains this formula, but elevates it with revamped combat systems and an even faster pace. The new combat system combines simplicity for beginners and depth for advanced players.

The Unreal Engine 5 (yes, we know, it’s everywhere!) has become the studio’s pride and joy, delivering realistic explosions and effects that feel like they’re straight out of the series’ legendary battles. And while we’ve seen it in thousands of games by now, here the UE5 works harder than Goku training under King Kai. Imagine that every time you launch a Kamehameha, the engine screams like Vegeta when someone mentions Goku.

Watch Out for the… DLC!

Bandai Namco, always with an eye on the future, hasn’t left players wanting more content. The first DLC packs have already been announced, with names like the “Martial Arts Pack” hinting at additional skins, characters, or even new movesets. We might not have all the details yet, but something tells us that deluxe edition holders won’t be the only ones getting surprises.

What Else to Expect?

This game isn’t just a step forward for the franchise — it’s a Saiyan leap! The reviews are already praising it, and everyone can’t stop talking about it, with Steam recording a peak of 91,000 players before the official release!!! We’re talking about the biggest launch of a Dragon Ball title in Steam’s history, and something tells us that this is just the beginning!
