Logitech G sought to amplify its presence in the gaming community while driving sales of its high-performance gaming gear. To accomplish this, we created a custom campaign that tapped into gamer culture, offering both entertainment and rewards.

 

Strategy:

The campaign centered around a fun, meme-inspired video, leveraging the iconic “Darude – Sandstorm” meme—widely recognized in the gaming world. This interactive video challenged viewers to find a hidden element, blending entertainment with engagement.

 

Execution:

  1. Interactive Video Challenge:
    We produced a video that played on the famous “Sandstorm” meme, encouraging viewers to discover a hidden element. Those who succeeded won free gaming hours at Battlenet stores, where they could experience Logitech G gear.
  2. Sales Incentive Program:
    To enhance sales, we offered customers additional gaming hours at Battlenet Gaming Stations with the purchase of specific Logitech G peripherals. This strategy not only boosted sales but also reinforced the brand’s presence in gaming environments.
